Obama and Global Warming

http://www.barackobama.com/issues/pdf/EnvironmentFactSheet.pdfWith the 2008 Elections approaching quickly, Barack Obama is doing everything he can to insure us that we will, one day, have a clean environment. He is working to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and help turn global warming into a good thing, that could maybe create job opportunities. Global warming, in fact, is not a little problem; it continues to keep growing and will hopefully be able to be taken care of and Obama is making it one of his top priorities if he were to be president.
Obama is already creating different ways to help get rid of global warming and has a plan to reduce carbon emissions by at least 80 percent by 2050. He will strive to get this started right away by establishing strong annual reduction targets and hopes that our economy can have the same level of emissions that we had in 1990 by 2020.
I think the effort that Obama wants to put into helping our economy is great. He already knows specific plans and has goals set for what years he wants this to be done by. I think he needs to make sure to take a strong hand and find a way to keep families and people involved. All of the presidents are giving a hard fight to get their points across when it comes to global warming, but Obama is the one making a strong charge with his ideas and his planned activities.
