Obama and his experience

An article by Jay Newton-small in the Time magazine, describes what he believes to be Obama’s lack of experience in the foreign policy field. Not only does Newton-small use Clinton’s criticism by quoting her worry about his experience as a child in a foreign country, not fully preparing him for what may lie ahead, but also when he quotes the Des Moines Register when they say he is “inspirational” yet many worry about his experience.
Newton-small continues his article and gives Obama the upper hand, saying he thinks Obama has had some experiences that will help him in his future. He also explains the statistics of children who have lived in other countries, and how they are more likely to go to college and have a wider world view. After living in Indonesia, there have been brutal email attacks of people claiming Obama to be a practicing Muslim, but he firmly stands behinds his beliefs as a Christian.
Despite people’s worry on inexperience, I believe Obama’s travels will definitely help him in the upcoming election. He has a background full of diversity, and has a full understanding of foreign ideals. Jay Newton –small criticizes Obama for lack of experience just like the rest of the public, but also gives him credit for his accomplishments.
